Amalfi wins the historic Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics of Italy 2022. This is the 13th title overall for Amalfi. Second was the galleon of Venice, then Genoa and Pisa. Rowing for Amalfi, coached by Antonio La Padula, were Vincenzo Di Palma (Helmsman), Luigi Lucibello, Luca Parlato, World Champion Vincenzo Abbagnale, Olympic Bronze Medalist in Rio 2016 Giovanni Abagnale, under-23 World Champion Salvatore Monfrecola, Mario Paonessa, Alberto Bellogrado, and Luigi Proto.
